My portraits are traditional in style and accurate and life-like in appearance. I apply the paint to the canvas with care and skill, paying particular attention around the eyes and face. Further out from the centre, the paint becomes a little more lavish and free. This has the effect of drawing in the viewer to the eyes of the subject.

I've been painting and illustrating for quite a while now and in that time I've worked in many different ways and styles and have used different media also. These days I stick to what I know best - and that's oil on canvas.
